It takes a Village to raise a business. Thank you, Whistler!

First things first – we would like to express our sincere appreciation to all of the members, regulars, employees, visitors and supporters who have made the opening of The Core such a great experience. Starting such a multi-faceted business is literally a 24/7 operation. The positive energy generated by everyone involved, actually made that task fun (if not entirely stress-free!)
Since January, we’ve had some great high points: Whistler Wellness Week; the launch of our popular Climb & Dine Program; the opening of our Yeti-Land Core Kids Play Area (the only one of its kind in town), and numerous features in magazines and TV. In fact, the whole Village has made The Core what it is today – a growing hub of Whistler culture.

One of the unique aspects of our gym is its appeal to both locals and tourists. We knew our community needed a creative cross-fitness facility. And our international visitors have told us that easy access to fitness, workout and activity options right here in the Village has made their Whistler experience that much better.

Now, with Summer almost upon us, our new programs and classes will be getting into full swing. So join us for some fun fitness, stay in touch and stay true to your Core!

Is your Core ready for summer?

OK, you got by through the layered look all season, but Lost Lake is calling. Why not tune and tone your bod with a fitness program or class at The Core? We have some of the best personal trainers in the valley, and a whole studio full of classes, including yoga with Van and Christina. Check our schedule and get in here. Then shop for that new beachwear. Or leave it off entirely.

Specials:
Wednesday is Ladies’ Night! Climb and socialize for just $17.50, including climbing equipment and coaching.

30% off Prana wear! Check out our selection of cool yoga and casual wear.

Kick off your real rock season.

The local stone is warming nicely, so refresh or sharpen your climbing skills with an outdoor course. The pros at The Core have been guiding the Sea to Sky Corridor for years, and now offer everything from Intro courses for beginners to lead climbing and rope rescue. New to town? Take one of our guided tours to discover some great pitches. And ladies who want to learn and climb at their own pace can sign up for one of our Women Only tours. Whatever your thing – get out there.

Climbing, Fitness and FUN for Kids

The younger you are, the closer you live to your true Core. We’ve got a whole adventure play space dedicated to physical movement and fun exploration. Yeti-Land offers supervised fun for kids aged 4 and up, while our popular Climb & Dine Program lets you enjoy some free time while the kids burn off energy at the gym. We have day camps as well – check the Kids’ Adventures section of our site to find out more.
