The whole world will be coming to Whistler. So we’ve created a climbing centre worthy of a global village, with a local style you’ll find nowhere else on the planet. The Wall The heart of The Core is an amazing 5500 square-foot indoor rock climbing wall. Find your own challenges, then conquer them – from easy kid-friendly routes to crack climbing, steep overhangs or tricky slab climbing. This is the place to learn or get stronger for the outdoors. Take a belay lesson or check our calendar for workshops and courses. Equipment rentals and retail sales available. No partner? No problem. You have access to a minimum of 20 routes to “Crank” all by yourself with our 4 auto belay devices, or challenge yourself in our Boulder Zone. Bouldering “Wow!” “Explosive!” “Fun!” “Intricate!” These are just a few of the comments from our members about our bouldering zone. Hundreds of holds give you an infinite choice of route, for intermediate to hard-core climbers. Prices Drop-in - $17.50. Hour Guided Session Our most popular program for people ages 4 and up. You climb and our friendly guides do all the safety work– belaying, coaching, motivating and sharing the local Whistler vibe. Sessions are sold in one-hour blocks and price is dependent on the number of people. All levels welcome. Reservations recommended. No experience necessary
Core Kids Climb and Dine This program is for kids 7-12 who are seeking an adventure without their parents! This three-hour guided climbing session includes dinner and provides the kids with a chance to interact with other children from around the world. Meanwhile parents can enjoy a culinary adventure on their own. $65 per child, for ages 7 years and older. Offered nightly from 6pm-9pm. Core Kids Yeti Land Dinner Drop the kids off at 6pm and pick them
up at 8pm, they’ll be tired and not wired - fed and
ready for bed! Kids age 4 and up get 2 hours of adventure
in the new Yeti Cave, climbing through tunnels, up ladders,
down slides and zipping around. Belay lesson $50 per person, minimum 2 people. Includes rentals and day pass. Introduction to Climbing Course This is a 1.5 hour course where you will be taught how to belay, route finding skills, rope management, and some basic movement technique. $55 per person Outdoor Courses Available Intro to Climbing, Lead Courses, Climbing Rescue and more. Equipment Rental Package Pass: $50 for 10 rentals
